Low Carb Chicken Fajitas



The second step in this recipe says to marinate the chicken and let it sit, but if you are in a rush just add the marinate and keep going! I would suggest to let it sit and marinate for more flavor!


Ingredients: 

1lb of Chicken
12oz of Bell Peppers and Onions
2 Garlic Cloves Crushed
1 Lime
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1/2 Teaspoon of Pepper

Toppings (Optional):
Salsa 
Sour Cream
Mixed Cheese
Water

Directions: 

1 Cut chicken into strips and separately chop bell peppers and onions into strips 
2 Combine crushed garlic with lime juice. Add sliced chicken to mixture and allow to marinate for 1-2 hours
3 Pre-heat a large saute pan to medium temperature, then add sliced chicken. Cook for about 3-5 minutes or until chicken begins to slightly blacken
4 Add bell peppers and onions, seasonings, and 2 tablespoons of water (water makes it steam and allows the mixture to not dry out) 
5 Stir consistently and once water is gone, add another 2 tablespoons or so. Make sure to cooke until the vegetables are slightly blackened and are semi soft
6 Serve with traditional condiments such as the sour cream and mixed cheese, ENJOY!
